Where they went

  • work11
  • home6
  • health4
  • reading2

Your reading habit held all seven days, the longest run it has had.

Suggested change

Four loose tasks look like one job. Make them a project, Kitchen remodel?

  • call the plumber back
  • measure the counter run
  • pick tiles, decide on grout
  • order the sink

* nothing is applied until you say so, and everything it does is one undo away. Runs on your own Anthropic key, so usage is billed to you, not to us.

Questions

Before you ask

A personal life OS. Tasks, projects, habits, goals, notes and a life calendar in one dashboard, tied together by an agenda and an AI assistant. It is built around the parts of life-management people actually repeat, rather than being a blank canvas you have to design first.

No. Every section is prebuilt: habits are habits, goals roll up progress from the projects and habits under them, the capture bar files what you type into the right place. There are no databases to define, no templates to install, and nothing to configure before it is useful. That constraint is the product.

The source is public and you can self-host it for free for personal use, but it is source-available rather than open source in the OSI sense: the license is PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0, which permits everything except commercial use. If you need an OSI-approved license, this is not one.

Content in the hosted service is encrypted at rest with a key unique to your account, so it is never sitting in the database as plain text. Be clear about the limit: the key that wraps those per-account keys is held by the server, so this protects you against a database leak, not against the operator. If that is not good enough for what you plan to write, self-host and hold your own key.

Whichever one you have a key for: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, OpenRouter, Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, xAI Grok, or Ollama running locally. The assistant reads your data, answers with charts and diagrams, and can create, move, retag and delete things, with undo. The hosted plan does not include a key or bill you for tokens, so you pay your provider directly and nothing is marked up.

Self-hosting is free. The hosted plan at pumma.app is $2/month, monthly only, cancel whenever, and you can export everything from Settings at any point. There is also a free demo: a throwaway account with sample data and a tutorial that deletes itself after 12 hours, with no signup and no card.

One person, as a side project, used daily by its author. The source is at https://github.com/joaquinsosap/pumma, and it is actively worked on, mostly in the direction of whatever is currently annoying.

PUMMA is a personal project by a solo developer. Payments are handled by our merchant of record.
